Ziyad Raoof met with Marshal of Mazowieckie Voivodeship

On February 11 Ziyad Raoof KRG Representative in Poland met with Adam Struzik- Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, which is the biggest among 16 Polish voivodeships and its capital Warsaw is also the capital of Poland. At the beginning of the meeting Ziyad Raoof talked about the situation in Iraq and Kurdistan Region and also about relations between KRG and federal government in Baghdad.

Ziyad Raoof explained the matter of normalization of relations with Baghdad but also mentioned about still existing problems. KRG Representative spoke about economic revival in Kurdistan which open new economic and trade possibilities for foreign partners like Poland.

Ziyad Raoof and Adam Struzik agreed that after creation of new KRG cabinet there should be exchange of Kurdish and Polish with participation of authorities, entrepreneurs, representatives of chambers of commerce and also universities.

The meeting took place in the headquarters of the Marshal office of Mazowieckie Voivodeship. Adam Struzik was accompanied by Aleksandra Hanzel deputy director of economic and international cooperation in the Marshal Office at the meeting she was asked by Adam Stuzik to be in charge of the development of cooperation with Kurdistan.
