Warsaw, Poland – on June 1, 2016 on the occasion of International Children’s Day, Ziyad Raoof, the KRG Representative in Poland invited the youngest members of Kurdish community in Poland along with their parents to the common celebration, The event took part in the seat of KRG Representation.

The meeting started with welcoming all guests. Then, the plays and games with kids were animated by activists from Czuj Czuj group which visited Kurdistan many times before. Kids were very happy about painting, singing and other games. Most of the plays were related to Kurdistan. As part of painting games kids prepared postcards for refugee children who live in Kurdistan. After the play sweet refreshments and small gifts were given: maps of Kurdistan, Kurdish pedants and flags. The youngest member of the meeting was only seven weeks old.

While kids had organized time, Ziyad Raoof invited their parents for refreshments and Kurdish tea.  It was a great occasion to exchange views not only about Kurdistan but as well as everyday life of Kurdish diaspora in Poland and plans for future.

This is the first such meeting in the history of the KRG Office in Poland, but considering youngest satisfaction about the meeting, the event will be continued.
