Ziyad Raoof at the conference “Open Kraków” about the experiences of his life in Poland and whether Poland is friendly towards immigrants

In Krakow there has just been held the conference “Open Krakow”. The participants debated how to build an open society in the second largest Polish city and how to exploit the potential of its multiculturalism and diversity. The conference was attended by the authorities of the city of Krakow, academic circles, diplomatic corps as well as foreigners from different parts of the world permanently living in Poland and in Krakow.


Bishop Rabban al-Qas visited Poland

Bishop of Zakho and Amedi Rabban al-Qas has paid a few-days visit in Poland. His stay has abounded in many interesting meetings and interviews. KRG Representation in Poland, as well as Polish priest Dariusz Smolenski have supported bishop in organization of this visit. (more…)

Members of Polish charity organizations met in KRG Poland office to discuss new plans of helping refugees in Kurdistan

As every year, Ziyad Raoof the representative of Kurdistan Regional Government to Poland hosted new-year meeting for representatives of Polish institutions and charity organizations engaged in providing aid to the refugees in Kurdistan. Participants of the meeting jointly summarized last year’ initiatives and presented new plans of supporting refugees. Bishop Rabban al-Qas from Duhok was a special guest of the meeting.


Panel discussion „Solution for Syria”

In Warsaw on December 6th, 2016 was held a panel discussion entitled “Solution for Syria” organized by Instrat Foundation in cooperation with “Rzeczpospolita” newspaper, Polish Humanitarian Action and Konrad Adenauer Fundation in Poland. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, think-tanks, non-governmental organizations and media. (more…)
